What do babies' nappies, jeans, cooking oil, bandages, skirts and shirts, tents, cattle feed, sails, headache remedies, sheets and pillowcases, have in common? They are all made from cotton.

Cotton is used in a large number of products as well as items of clothing and home furnishings. These include food, fertilisers, footwear, medical supplies, boat sails, barrage balloons, books, millinery, shopping bags, umbrellas, beach furniture, tents, hosepipes, artists canvases, winding sheets and etc.
