Boiled potatoes with melted lard or butter and pieces of fried bacon

After Work Supper (served after 7.00 pm,)

Breakfast Dishes
Jam butty (sandwich) and tea

Dinner Dishes
Potato Pie, Meat and Potato Pie, Lancashire Hotpot or Potato Hash served with potatoes, carrots, peas and dripping' and a pan of dumplings.

Spare Ribs and Cabbage, wholesome slow cooked ribs with cabbage

Ham Shanks, ham shank soup with peas, lentils and barley.

Tea-time Fish and Chips
Rock salmon served with chips and bread and flour cakes.
